Gnana Vinayagan Palaniyandi is a passionate and innovative software engineer with over 3 years of relevant experience in the Information Technology industry. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at General Electric, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining GE’s energy management system software (e-terraTransmission) and monitoring and maintenance related to power system network applications. He has experience in software development using C++, Java, Jython, and Python with OOP concepts, following agile methodology. He is also proficient in using Microsoft Visual Studio, Eclipse, CMake, Springboot, Git, and JIRA. Gnana's past experience includes working as a Software Engineering Specialist at General Electric, where he developed software for GE’s energy management system software (e-terraTransmission) and worked on activities such as basic UI development, scripting in Python, and design patterns, common data structures, and algorithms. He has also worked as a Research Assistant at IIT Bombay, where he developed hardware for real-time control of AVR for synchronous Machines to implement the scaled model of two area power system at power systems lab in IIT Bombay. Gnana holds a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sastra University. He is a certified RHCE and RHCSA. Gnana is a tech-savvy individual with expertise in software engineering, UI development, Python, Spring Boot, Java, and research. He is a quick learner and is always willing to learn new skills and technologies. He is a team player and enjoys working in collaborative and engaging environments to drive change in order to impact business results. He aspires to advance to leadership positions in his career and is committed to making a positive impact in the IT industry.
