Gnanesh Chilukuri is an experienced developer and co-founder with a demonstrated history of working in the logistics, e-commerce, and consumer space. He is skilled in Agile Methodologies, designing and building scalable systems, analytical skills, and team building. Currently, Gnanesh is the co-founder of smartstaff, where he is building a team of Android and Full-stack Engineers. Prior to this, he worked as the Associate Vice President Engineering at Zomato, where he handled the logistics platform for the company's online ordering business. He played an instrumental role in scaling the logistics product to handle a million-plus orders a day, designed the architecture to break the monolith into micro-services, and managed the dev-ops/infrastructure to handle the exponentially increasing scale. He also built a new tech team from scratch in Bangalore and scaled it to 30+ developers. Gnanesh is also a co-founder of Runnr, a B2B Last Mile Logistics platform that helps small SMEs in India to book, track, and manage customer deliveries at scale. He led tech teams working on multiple tech stacks, launched different verticals like Bike taxi, B2C consumer app & Corporate ordering, and set up agile practices across teams and coding practices. He built an organization team structure and hierarchy levels. Gnanesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from PES and completed his education in 2010. He also attended STJ PU college from 2004 to 2006. Gnanesh is proficient in Android, DevOps, Microservices, infra, Data Engineering, QA, Frontend, and Backend, and has relevant experience of 11.52 years.
