Gokul Chavan is an experienced software developer with over 12 years of experience in the industry. He has worked as an Android Engineer and Team Lead for Android Mobile and Flutter Universal Application in various industries such as Medical and Transportation. He has complete software development life cycle experience on multiple projects and is skilled in using Android SDK 2.1 and above using Android Studio. He has sound knowledge and extensive experience in using Google Maps and SQLite Database. Gokul has good exposure in web services like JSON, data transfer with server (Database) and client (Mobile app) using Volley. He has knowledge of debugging application using handset and simulator and has knowledge of Android User Interface design, write XML’s also creating custom images again using XML’s and SVG’s. He has worked on the BLE Integration, Get the data / info via BLE & display in the app. Gokul has experience in unit testing of the app both manual testing and automated testing (jUnit) and enhancing performance of the app once performance testing is completed. He has proposed better Enterprise End to End Solution within technology limits and has followed the process through Jira or Azure VSTS boards. He has monitored app usage, performance, crashes, production support once pushed on Google Play Store using Google Firebase. Gokul has the ability to work in a team environment with 10 developers under him at a point of time and has followed SAFe process, Git Flow, Review PRs, push the code to upper environment through pipeline. He is currently working on Flutter (Universal Mobile Platform) and has designed the architecture and business flow for the flutter app. He has worked with API teams to get the API created according to the app requirements and has coordinated with business and higher hierarchy people so what is coming next in the app and convinced them with the new features, which can have a positive impact. Gokul has experience with Dart, YAML, and Flutter Pipelines and has experience with Firebase Console components and Google Cloud Console APIs. He is now exploring on iOS and Node.js (it's just a start - goal is to be a full stack developer on mobile platform). He is training coworkers under him on Flutter and Android development and is developing new features and giving a demo at the end of PI.
