Gokulakannan Sakthivel is an Azure Cloud Engineer at Eli Lilly, with a passion for Machine Learning and Cloud technology. Despite his background in Chemical Engineering, Gokulakannan has always been drawn to Computer Science and Technology, and has developed a strong skillset in Data Science, including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Data Analytics. Gokulakannan is a quick learner and highly adaptable, constantly seeking out new areas to contribute to. He has experience working with a variety of programming languages, including Python, MATLAB, Java, and C Programming, and has worked with a range of cloud environments, including Google Cloud, IBM, Heroku, and Digital Ocean. In addition to his technical skills, Gokulakannan possesses a range of soft skills that make him an effective team member, including his learning potential, teamwork, creativity, and observant nature. He is also fluent in English, Tamil, and Hindi, which allows him to work effectively with a diverse range of colleagues and clients. Gokulakannan's past experience includes research internships at UC Irvine and the Indian Institute of Technology, where he worked on projects related to predicting phase transitions in polymers using machine learning. He is currently an Associate Data Scientist at Profond AI, where he continues to develop his skills in the field of Data Science. Outside of work, Gokulakannan enjoys travelling, anime, graphic design, and yoga. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, and completed his secondary education in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science at Chinmaya Vidyalaya (E.M.), Rourkela. With 2.36 years of relevant experience, Gokulakannan is a highly skilled and motivated professional in the field of Data Science and Cloud technology.
