Gopal Chandak is an experienced product manager with a background in functional consulting and development. He is currently working as a Senior Product Manager at rocketium, where he is responsible for driving product strategy and execution. With over 14 years of relevant experience, Gopal is an agile practitioner and has worked with globally distributed cross-functional teams. Gopal has previously worked as a Product Manager at contentserv, where he was leading multiple product streams in the Product Information Management (PIM) domain. He was responsible for helping businesses manage quality data and content required to sell products across channels. Gopal worked closely with leadership, stakeholders, and customer teams to identify new product capabilities and implemented multiple product features to address important customer use cases. He managed product backlog, product requirement documents, and release activities for multiple agile teams. Gopal also supported sales and product marketing activities and set up and managed the PM team. Prior to contentserv, Gopal worked as a Product Owner at thoughtworks, where he conducted requirement workshops, user interviews, and stakeholder communication. He translated business requirements to epics and user stories for development and managed sprint activities. Gopal holds an MBA in eBusiness and Finance from Welingkar Institute of Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in IT from Yashwantrao Chavan College of Engineering. He is currently pursuing a Product Management course from Indian School of Business, which will be completed in May 2022. Gopal is passionate about building digital products and problem-solving.
