Gopal Das is a highly experienced Salesforce Technical Architect/Consultant/Lead with over 16 years of relevant experience in the IT industry. He is currently working as a Salesforce Technical Architect/Consultant for a confidential company in Kolkata, India. Gopal has worked on a wide variety of applications/services like desktop, web, mobile, and cloud-based applications. He has experience in various roles, starting from developer to architect. Gopal is an 11x SFDC Certified professional who is always willing to learn about new technologies. He is a quick learner and loves to keep himself updated with the latest trends in the industry. Gopal is passionate about his work and is always looking for ways to improve and enhance his skills. Gopal has worked with some of the top companies in the industry, including Capgemini and Xoriant, where he worked as an Associate Technical Lead and Consultant, respectively. At Xoriant, Gopal was involved in the customization of the service cloud application for the New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange. The scope of the project was to develop a complete service and support application for the Health Exchange. At Capgemini, Gopal worked on a project to develop sales cloud app for mobile banking in Africa and the Middle East region. He was responsible for configuring the Salesforce.com application to incorporate various standard functionality like Leads, Accounts, Contact, Activity, Campaign, Products, and Territory Management. Gopal also worked on the creation and customization of various objects, fields, record types, Workflow and Approval Processes, Triggers, Controllers, Assignment rules, Validation rules, sophisticated Visualforce Pages, Custom fields, Email Services, and Sharing rules as per business needs of the client. Gopal completed his Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Information Technology from the West Bengal University of Technology in 2006. He is a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Salesforce, Mobile, Web, UI, and Android. Apart from work, Gopal loves to travel and explore new places. He also runs a blog where he shares his knowledge and experience with the Salesforce community.
