He has served large Fortune 100 Banking and Capital Market firms in their CTB and RTB initiatives across NA and EMEA geographies. Currently serving as the Vice President of Professional Services at Zeta, Gopal has managed the delivery of a $250M portfolio and is responsible for client relationship management, business operations, client value creation, profitability improvement, and capability improvement. Gopal brings a deep understanding of the Banking and Capital Markets Industry across the macro-economic, regulatory, changing customer demography, and disruptive technology aspects. He is focused on new trends in outsourcing, including "true" outcome-based revenue sharing models that can help financial services firms to optimize value from vendors and for vendors to demonstrate their ability to drive outcomes. He also loves teaching industry topics, mentoring, and coaching people to help them achieve their full potential. In addition to his professional expertise, Gopal is deeply interested in the various Indian schools of philosophy and their comparison and contrast with the latest developments in science that have philosophical implications on the nature of reality. Gopal's past experiences include serving as Managing Director - Technology at Accenture, where he was a global technology delivery lead, managing a complex portfolio for global financial services firms. He also played a variety of roles at Wipro, including Delivery Manager, Project Manager, Technology Lead, and Senior Developer. In these roles, he successfully turned around a troubled project for a Japanese bank by implementing a cash management platform for their corporate banking business and transitioned the application development and maintenance of a large portfolio of applications (150+) to India for one of the largest discount brokerage houses in the USA. Gopal holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Software Enterprise Management and Corporate Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and an Engineer's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from BEC Karnataka University. He is also proficient in Java and has relevant experience of 23.21 years.
