He currently works as a Consultant Software Engineer at EMC Data Storage Systems, where he specializes in the implementation of mapping and control software for various file systems, logical volume managers, databases, and EMC storage. Gopalakrishna's areas of expertise include C programming, data structures, Unix and Linux OS internals and programming, development of Storage Array Management APIs/CLIs/services Architecture, Design, Development, and Internals, storage resource management, file systems software, logical volume managers, cluster file systems internals and development, Unix and Windows system programming, and mapping of storage resources (FS/DB/LVM) in the presence of VMware storage. He also has experience in embedded OS environments such as VxWorks and Pharlap.
