Gopika S is a highly skilled R&D IC Design Engineer II with over 8 years of experience in the field. Currently working as a Staff Engineer at Qualcomm, she has also worked as a Member of Technical Staff at Nuvia and as an Engineer - IC Design at Broadcom. Gopika is an expert in chip level pre-silicon and post-silicon validation, with extensive experience in emulation-based pre-silicon validation on Cadence PXP and Z1 platform as well as Protium. She is well-versed in the emulation prototyping of design in the Cadence ICE Flow and has a good understanding of functional test developments in high-level languages like C and C++. She is also proficient in debugging using JTAG (Arm DS5) and is familiar with Uboot bootloader and using it for test suite development. Gopika has a strong background in silicon bringup to complete functional validation of CRMU, DMA, Trustzone, Arm cores, and other SOC blocks. She has experience in PVT validation of different process corners and performance evaluation of SOC. She has worked with Arm cores like Armv8 (A72) and Cortex M (M7) processors and has expertise in Matlab generation of audio files for testing codec block on Protium and reconstruction of audio digital output signals using DAC card. Gopika is also well-versed in L2 ethernet switch functional validation and has experience in using IXIA Ethernet Packet Generator for L2 ethernet switching tests. She has a Master of Science degree in Computers and Microelectronics from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NIT Calicut.
