Gopikrishna Rathinavel is a graduate student at Virginia Tech, pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science. With 4 years of experience as a software developer, he completed his Bachelor’s degree at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. Currently working as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech, Gopikrishna is focused on anomaly detection in wireless signals using deep learning techniques. He has also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Virginia Tech in the past, where he gained experience in teaching and mentoring students. Gopikrishna has a strong technical background, with expertise in research, deep learning, and software engineering. He is a skilled Research Scientist with a passion for exploring new technologies and solving complex problems. His educational background includes a dual degree (B.Tech & M.Tech) in Biotechnology from IIT Madras and he is expected to complete his Master’s degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech in May 2022.
