Gourav Barnwal is a versatile Software Engineer with a passion for exploring various domains such as Entrepreneurship, Psychology, Politics, and Spirituality. He is a graduate of Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar, where he earned his Bachelor of Technology degree. With over 3 years of relevant experience, Gourav is currently working as an SDE at Zenefits, where he is responsible for developing software solutions that enhance the livelihood of human beings. Prior to joining Zenefits, Gourav worked as a Software Engineer at Freo(MoneyTap), a credit-led neo bank that allows customers to borrow and pay off loans flexibly. During his time at Freo(MoneyTap), he worked on various projects such as Integration of microservice for data collection and management, Integration of Collection Agency, Repayment Flow, Integration of a Lending Partner, and Restructure Flow of Loans. Gourav also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Shunya, where he was part of the Summer Accelerator program and worked on the Turtle Ship project. He was responsible for integrating Open source software and AWS service on a web application developed on Flask as backend, React on Frontend, and MySQL as DB. Gourav's technical skills include Software Engineering, Integration, Python, Spring, Spring Boot, Django, Java, Microservices, AWS, Backend, Research Scientist, Deep Learning, MySQL, SQL, test, Docker, Flask, Frontend, and Web. He is a quick learner and always eager to learn new technologies and skills. Gourav's energy and enthusiasm towards his work are contagious, and he believes that his efforts, no matter how small, can make a difference in enhancing the livelihood of human beings.
