Gourav Barnwal is a Software Engineer currently working at Freo (MoneyTap) and a graduate of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar. His passion lies in exploring various domains such as Entrepreneurship, Psychology, Politics, Spirituality, and more, with the aim of enhancing the livelihood of human beings. He strongly believes that his energy will not go in vain, and his efforts will contribute to making a difference in society. At Freo (MoneyTap), Gourav has worked on various projects spanning Integration of Collection Agency, Repayment Flow, Integrating a Lending Partner, and Restructure Flow of Loans. In his previous role at Shunya, he was part of the Summer Accelerator program, where he worked on the Turtle Ship project, integrating open-source software and AWS services on a web application developed on Flask as a backend, React on Frontend, and MySQL as DB. During his stint at Tech Mahindra, he developed a working model to detect adverse effects in live stream video, using Faster-RCNN and YoloV3 architecture, computer vision, deep learning, convolution neural network, TensorFlow, and web service from Google-Colab. Gourav's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology degree from IIT Bhubaneswar, where he graduated in 2020. He also completed his Higher Secondary (Science) from Bhagat Public Sen. Sec. School, Kota, and his Secondary Education from Pt. B. P. Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Dugda, Bokaro. Gourav's technical expertise includes Software Engineering, Integration, AWS, Web development, MySQL, Flask, Frontend, Backend, Research Scientist, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Tensorflow, and Neural Networks.
