Gourav Das is a seasoned Chief Product and Technology Officer with over 15 years of experience in technical roles, entrepreneurship, and product leadership. He currently leads Data, Product, and Technology at ApnaKlub, a company that helps MSMEs in India to buy better and sell more. Gourav has a wide range of experience working with companies like Microsoft, starting his own startup, and even helping other startups with their product and development strategies. Gourav is an insanely obsessed customer-centric leader who has vast experience in building entire infrastructures from scratch quickly and putting them in the customer's hands. He has been working extensively with Mobile-first customers of Tier 2 and beyond cities in the past five years. His focus is primarily on the product, from a customer perspective, and he is motivated by instincts and driven by data. Gourav's specialties include Quick Idea -> Design -> MVP -> Scale, obsessed about customer feedbacks and quick re-iteration of products, high performant platforms at low TCO, building high performant lean teams (even remote), and being a super-fast learner. He intends to build on his experience in designing and building products that serve a large faction of users and seamlessly scale to serve billions of users. Gourav has worked with several companies in the past, including TM Investment Pvt. Ltd, where he led Development as their CTO. He led the Technology and Engineering team responsible for Backend, Web, and Mobile apps for their portfolio of services, including Teji Mandi. He is currently helping to migrate to MicroService Architecture, leading automation efforts, building compliance and auditing feasibility to their existing solutions, and working with BigQuery, Airflow, Analytics partners to create a unified Data intelligence view for all teams. Gourav holds a B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the College of Engineering and Technology, BBSR. He is highly skilled in Mobile, Integration, Senior Software Engineer, Web, Backend, Apache Airflow, test, Microservices, SQL, AWS, Android, PHP, MySQL, NoSQL, Elastic Search, Kafka, iOS, Flutter, and NodeJS.
