Gourav Dhama is a skilled Software Development Engineer with over 5 years of experience in the industry. Currently working as an intern at the Indian Red Cross Society, Gourav has developed a website for the blood bank department that stores donors' data and provides an auto-messaging service. The website was developed on ASP.net. He has also worked on a disaster management website that includes online testing and course material for people applying for certification in various courses like First Aid and Firefighting. Before joining the Indian Red Cross Society, Gourav worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Zynga, where he gained valuable experience in release management and coordination with various teams under stress and strict deadlines. He also worked on the Blob Reduction project, which aimed to reduce the runtime blob of Farmville 2 players with low bandwidth connections without affecting the game dynamics. Additionally, he was part of the team responsible for migrating the whole Farmville 2 game from local servers to AWS servers and wrote documentation to help developers understand and migrate their dev. environment to AWS. Gourav also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Niki.ai, where he worked on Natural Language Modeling for understanding real-time human queries and relating them to their transactional needs. He developed a Proof of Concept (POC) for comparing the best database for querying on their natural language model.
