Gourav Wadhwa is an algorithm engineer at TikTok with a wealth of experience in the field of research and development. He has previously worked as a Research Scientist at Kroop AI, where he developed audio-driven face synthesis methods, state-of-the-art Text-to-Speech methods, and a complete pipeline for voice style transfer. He also worked as a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Science, where he analyzed different techniques used for Cross-Domain Adaption and worked on Cross-Domain Facial Emotion Recognition. Gourav graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar with a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering in 2021. He is currently working as a Pre-Doctoral Researcher at Google, India, and is interested in working in the domain of Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning. He is passionate about collaborating on interesting projects in the domain of computer vision or NLP.
