Gouri Matere is an experienced Data Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the pharmacy benefit management, investment banking, and shipping industry. She is skilled in Data Warehousing, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, Tableau, and Oracle SQL Developer. Gouri has a strong research background with a Bachelor's degree focused on Electronics and Communications Engineering and a Master's degree in Information Technology from the University of Bridgeport. Currently, Gouri is working as a Data Engineer at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where she works closely with researchers, SMEs, business analysts, and technical leads to implement innovative data integration solutions across on-premises and cloud-based environments. She designs and develops ETL processes and tools supporting scientific applications and web portal sites that contain cancer research data on Microsoft Azure platform to make it available for researchers/doctors across the world. Gouri also documented data mappings for ETL implementations to support application development teams and delivered throughout the full software development life cycle. Gouri has also worked as a Senior Data Modeler at Rxsense, where she designed and orchestrated ETLs between AWS S3 Data Lake and Snowflake using Matillion. She developed and implemented data analytics and strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality of the system. Gouri worked closely with Qlik developers to migrate the existing Tableau reports into QlikSense and designed Tableau reports to track business KPIs. She also performed data validation, system health checks, and scheduled the data loads using Python. Gouri's education background includes a Master's degree in Information Systems and Engineering Management from Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, a Master's degree in Engineering from the University of Bridgeport, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering and Information Technology from Mumbai University.
