Gouthamy Gopinath is a highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in all phases of software development cycles. He has a significant understanding of Operating Systems and graduated from BITS Pilani Goa Campus in 2014 with BE Hons Computer Science. Currently, Gouthamy is working as a Software Developer at Arista Networks where he is part of the team responsible for handling QoS (Quality of Service) features in EOS, an Arista proprietary Linux-based network operating system for cloud-network and data-centre networking devices. Gouthamy has worked as an Intern at eBay where he enabled the visualization of nested service calls along with a mapping of the latency of each service call. He created a web-app that called RESTful web services at the back-end which would either retrieve data or populate a MongoDB database with the output of a PIG job that scrapes data from the Hadoop clusters. This project exposed him to RESTful services, PIG Jobs, and using JAVA Driver to access MongoDB. Gouthamy's technical skills include Software Engineering, MongoDB, Web, test, Java, Hadoop, and Backend. He has relevant experience of 9.20 years in the industry and is known for his ability to work efficiently in a team.
