Govind Agarwal is a Lead Software Engineer with over 8 years of relevant experience in the software industry. He is currently working at FICO as a Lead Developer for cloud-based Compliance, AML, KYC domain financial products. Govind has extensive experience in backend techs like Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Multi-Threading, Design Patterns, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Kafka Streams, MongoDB, Ignite, etc. along with frontend techs like ReactJS, AngularJS, etc. He is also knowledgeable in Docker, Kubernetes, AuthC&Z, OAuth, Keycloak, OpenDistro, AWS, etc. and has experience in SDLC including Product Development, enhancements, feature addition, product up-gradation, migration, customer-related defects, etc. Govind has received multiple awards and recognitions for his contributions. He has also volunteered for local community education and upliftment projects along with coordinating a survey for the artisan's upliftment. Govind's current company, FICO is a centralized cloud-based Fraud, AML, KYC and sanctions screening platform for designing rules, executing machine learning models, orchestrating workflows, and managing investigations. He has worked on FinCEN SAR/CTR Reporting using groovy based XML template for report creation and validations. He has also worked on Kafka stream/topologies and state stores for enrichment/scoring on AML based rules. Govind has worked on Aggregation framework based on MongoDB for AML scoring. He has also worked on data archiving framework using Kafka Connect to archive data to AWS S3 from MongoDB. Govind has worked on feature UI in AngularJS completely from scratch based on UX team requirement. He has worked on spring boot POC on ignite and mongo to evaluate in-memory access/performance for certain features. He has worked on a generic module for generating performance reports for all the microservices and worked on COGS metrics for the product and improving the product performance by debugging the affected services. Before joining FICO, Govind worked at Oracle as a Member Of Technical Staff for their product Oracle Ops Center. He has also worked at Nokia as a Senior Engineer for their product Nokia NFM-P, an IP/MPLS management tool for end-to-end network and service management across an all-IP network.
