Govind Jain is a highly skilled student at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, with a strong background in programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, and JavaScript. He is adept at logical thinking, data structures, and algorithms, and has experience in web development using Node.js, Django, and Bootstrap. Govind also has experience working with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, and AWS S3, and is proficient in using IDEs such as IntelliJ and Visual Studio Code. He is well-versed in version control systems such as Git, Github, and AWS CodeCommit, and has experience working with hardware such as Arduino and FPGA. Currently working as a Python Developer at Segritech, Govind has added a Fruit Grading Django app that uses machine learning models to grade the quality of a set of fruits and provides a detailed report. He has also integrated AWS S3 with the distributable package for Raspberry Pi using boto3 for uploading and downloading files from S3 storage and automated tasks using crontab. In his previous role at Jeevitiv, Govind worked as a Back End Developer and integrated Timekit, an appointment scheduling REST API service, with the company's platform. He also designed the entire database schema for some important elements related to a healthcare startup, such as Doctor, Patient, and Medical documents, and produced schema diagrams and code for the same. As a Project Member at the Models and Robotics Section at IIT Roorkee, Govind programmed a "Bot" made on top of Arduino to move F, B, L, and R based on the gestures made on the "Controller glove" (Bending F, B, L, and R respectively). He also integrated the "Controller glove" with sensors such as angle sensors and created hardware for the bot using mechanical tools. Govind holds a B.Tech degree in Computer Science from IIT Roorkee, where he is expected to graduate in 2023.
