The Policy in Action Program is a highly selective and rigorous month-long program delivers core skills in policy analysis, builds capacity for leadership through training in advocacy and provides an opportunity to work on projects for policymakers.

As a part of the program, I worked on the public policy project: "Strengthening Rural Local Self Government in Odisha" under Rajya Sabha MP, Mr. Sujeet Kumar. I prepared policy briefs and report after analyzing the 73rd Amendment Act, 1992 and the scheme of SAGY (Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana). I held together stakeholder consultations and performed data analysis on the efficacy of the scheme.

Founded in 2016, Young Leaders for Active Citizenship (YLAC) aims to increase the participation of young people in the policymaking process and build their capacity to lead change.

Our interventions are designed to equip citizens with a better understanding of the society they live in and the challenges that it confronts. The aim is to help young people broaden their perspective, think critically about their socio-political construct, tap their leadership potential and acquire skills to create long lasting impact.

I worked as a freelancer on Chegg where I worked on data analytics projects, taught international students basic Statistics, Chemistry etc. subjects and helped them in their project completion and understanding the concepts to ace their semester exams.

I was a part of Insights & Data Analytics team of Capgemini. I got the opportunity to work on few data analytics projects. I worked on a POC project for an aviation client to build a business strategy. I analysed the visitors data after data cleaning operations and applied feature engineering techniques. Then, I built a Machine Learning model to determine the visitors propensity and achieved an accuracy of 68%. I worked on similar projects as well.

I pursued an internship at KPMG Gurgaon for 6 months and learned about the intellectual property and engaged with industry associations on thoughtful leadership. 
- Analyzed the current Intellectual Property ecosystem in India.

- Involved in advisory to cloud services by pitching 'cloud based solutions' to the SMB enterprises and therefore identified business opportunities (initiated a closure of 116 seats and generated a lead of 72 seats)
- Framed methodologies and solution frameworks for two CII projects, which are as follows: 
   1. Predicting the rank of Indian and Indian based companies and Indian states by evaluating them across different stages of intellectual property lifecycle of creation, protection and commercialization and presenting the findings through storytelling
   2. Estimating the impact of online piracy on Indian media and entertainment industry

I studied about the roll cooling circuit and understood why it is necessary. There are different types of valves used in the circuit- e.g. butterfly valves, pneumatic valves. I analyzed the diiferent butterfly valves and the pressure at which they are operated in the circuit and their diameters as well. I built a Tafel Exploration model and Linear Polarization model for the electrochemical process of corrosion.
