Gowrav Shenoy is a skilled Software Quality Principal Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the SAN, NAS, and SDN domains. He possesses a strong theoretical knowledge of Software Engineering, Software Testing, Software Architecture, Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Operating Systems, Network Security, and Cloud Computing. Gowrav is proficient in programming languages such as PERL and Python and has experience with testing tools like PowerCLI for Vcenter and Flexible IO (FIO) for IO testing. Gowrav has hands-on experience in VCenter/ESXi management, configuring iSCSI volumes, and deploying Openstack instances. He has worked on NAS, SAN, and SDN domains and has a basic understanding of jQuery, REST API’s, and web frameworks. Currently, Gowrav is working as a Software Quality Principal Engineer at Dell, where he has been responsible for QA feature ownership for Remote Replication, Multi-VCenter, Performance Statistics reporting, Deduplication, HP Platform support, and million object NFSv3 support. He has also been actively involved in POCs that have contributed to some of the major sales of their product. Gowrav has mentored everyone who joined the team over the last 2.5 years, and he understands the product architecture and all the features offered by the product. Gowrav has also worked as a Senior QA Engineer at Coho Data, where he was responsible for QA feature ownership for Remote Replication, Multi-VCenter, Performance Statistics reporting, Deduplication, HP Platform support, and million object NFSv3 support. He has also been actively involved in POCs that have contributed to some of the major sales of their product. Gowrav has a Master's degree in Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor's degree in Information Science and Engineering from PES. He has also completed his High School education from Viveka PU College. Gowrav's tech stack includes Python, QA, Integration, Web, and Software Engineering.
