Previously, Greg worked at Qubole as the Senior Director of Support, where he led the global support team and provided the highest level of service to customers around the world. He worked with popular Big Data technologies, including Presto, Spark, Hive, Hadoop, and Airflow, alongside an innovative engineering team. At Qubole, he developed processes and methodologies to improve the effectiveness and value that the support team delivers for customers. Greg also built leading-edge support tools and automation to improve support delivery efficiency and quality. He ensured the support team drove actions based on meeting and exceeding support Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). He developed relationships with key customers to drive areas of improvement and ensure high-quality delivery of support to them. Before Qubole, Greg worked at Silver Spring Networks as the Sr. Manager of Hosting Operations. He managed hosting operations within the Smart Grid Technical Operations organization, supporting customers across the globe. He was responsible for 5 staff members and a budget of over $2 million (operations and capital). Greg led the team of Operations Software Engineers who architect, design, build, test, deploy, and support leveraged enterprise software products and automations to support Silver Spring Network's 24x7 hosting operations. He implemented an Agile development process to streamline collaboration and improve overall technical execution. He also led the Operations program for all customer and internal projects by the Operations organization, including 60+ FTE workload forecasting. Greg holds a High School degree from Fremont High School. He is a skilled leader with a proven track record of delivering results. Greg is passionate about building relationships with key customers and ensuring high-quality delivery of support to them. He is always looking for great folks to join his team in solving technically challenging problems in the enterprise space.
