Guhan Krishnan is a consultant at Aon with a strong background in digital transformation and data-driven decision making. He began his career as an Elementary Production Unit Manager, where he managed a team of 50+ associates in the factory and drove productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety, and morale to meet production targets. With a passion for data and technology, Guhan pitched to lead the digital transformation program in the factory, where he led the change towards digitalization and data-driven decision making on the shop floor. As a part of this newly created role, Guhan partnered with department heads and senior managers to continuously improve the usage of their ERP interface tools like Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). He worked with global teams to improve the end-user experience by launching new features, automating tasks, while also troubleshooting technical issues. In parallel, he identified gaps in factory operations and worked with external vendors and internal teams to incorporate relevant technology innovations. This yielded the launch of Dashboards, Digital Tools, a Virtual Reality Lab, and Remote-Assistance Technology. Guhan has built strong working relationships with department heads and leaders to maximize adoption of the innovations. In this journey of building solutions for internal stakeholders, he has worked a lot on descriptive data analytics using Excel & Power BI, and this has become his strength, having built interactive dashboards, reports, and data models. Having closely worked on HR Projects as a part of his role in the factory, Guhan pursued and completed his PGDHRM from XLRI Jamshedpur, having graduated in April 2022. He started his career in HR as an Early Careers Recruiter at the Student Programs team in Amazon, having secured a pre-placement offer (PPO) after a 2-month internship. Guhan is looking forward to building his career across HR functions while simultaneously driving innovations in technology and analytics. His past experience includes working at Amazon as an SP Recruiter - APAC and an HR Generalist. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Tiruchirappalli and an AISSCE from Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School.
