Gunnika Batra is an accomplished data scientist and researcher with a strong background in artificial intelligence. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Computer Science at UC San Diego and actively seeking summer internship opportunities for 2023. Gunnika's experience includes a senior analyst position at EY, where she provided tech consulting services. She also worked as a research intern at DRDO, where she developed an innovative approach to dynamically allocating aircraft control by detecting the level of a pilot's cognitive workload using physiological sensors like electroencephalogram (EEG). In addition, Gunnika is a founding team member of DPhi, an initiative aimed at building data culture and democratizing data science learning. She regularly conducts bootcamps, datathons, and releases intuitive courses to help others learn about data science. Gunnika is a former lead of Women Techmakers BVP and a GitHub Campus Expert. She is highly proficient in Python and is passionate about the data science domain. She has completed a Udacity Nanodegree in Deep Learning and has worked on various projects in deep learning and machine learning. Gunnika is open to positions in the data science industry or research positions related to human-computer interaction or computer vision. She has a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering and completed her Deep Learning Nanodegree from Udacity in 2020.
