Gur Saran Das is a seasoned software development leader with over 27 years of experience in building global teams and delivering innovative products. He is currently serving as the Managing Director India at NewNet, a Skyview Capital company, where he is responsible for the India Innovation Center building products in Enterprise Cloud Storage, Payments, Messaging, and TBM. Gur Saran has a proven track record of successfully implementing Agile methodologies for faster time to market and has a good balance of business insight coupled with strong technical and management skills. As the Associate Vice President of Engineering and Center Head at GlobalLogic, Gur Saran established the Bangalore Center for GlobalLogic and grew the center to several hundred engineers building innovative products in Communications, Mobility, Cloud, and Analytics. Prior to that, he was the Managing Director at Sylantro and BroadSoft India where his responsibilities included Product Engineering Ownership for all Synergy products, including the flagship Carrier Grade hosted IP Application Server deployed at leading Tier 1 carriers, including AT&T, Qwest, and Swisscom. Gur Saran spent ten years at Aspect Software in San Jose, managing an Engineering and Tools organization for the company building industry-leading Contact Center Enterprise products. He has cross-geo experience leading teams in Silicon Valley, Europe, and India, and has built development centers in Bangalore for two Silicon Valley companies. Gur Saran has also built and led Product Development, QA, Support, and Professional Services teams. Gur Saran holds a BTech degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and has also completed a program in Building, Leading, and Sustaining the Innovative Organization from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also holds a bachelor's degree in Technology from the University of Maryland and has attended Mount Saint Mary's.
