Gurjot Singh is a highly experienced business leader with over 25 years of experience in the field of Information Security, Privacy Management, and Cloud Computing. He specializes in guiding start-ups and mid-size companies to scale and migrate ICT operations. Gurjot has held positions of CIO, Chief Technologist, and Consultant, implementing diverse requirements in a multitude of industry verticals such as Legal, BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Software development. Gurjot has a strong technical background, having started writing code in 5th grade and successfully started a software development company in 1992. He has continued to add to his technical expertise and has been certified by EC-Council, British Standards Institute, Microsoft, STQC/ Carnegie Mellon University, and ITIL. In addition, he has also done executive courses from APESMA/ Deakin University Melbourne, Australia. Gurjot has worked with some of the most prominent companies in the industry, including Microsoft India, Anand And Anand, BSA/NASSCOM, Bank of America, and SAP. He is a seasoned professional who has been safeguarding information systems, designing layered security, and investigating crimes related to computers long before the terms ethical hacking, information security, and cyber forensics came into vogue. One of the earliest cases dealing with the internet was Yahoo!, Inc. vs Akash Arora & Anr. on 19 February 1999, for which the entire forensic code analysis was done by Gurjot. Apart from his professional achievements, Gurjot is a voracious reader and an avid adventure junkie. He is either studying new tech, currently AI and health tech, or traveling. If you cannot find Gurjot engrossed in his subject of immediate attention, he’s probably high up trekking in the Himalayas or driving to some remote and beautiful destination. Currently, Gurjot is an Executive Member at Cyberedboard Community, and in the past, he has worked as Chief Information Security Officer at K&S Partners and CIO at XSAT India Services Pvt. Ltd. Gurjot's education includes a Distance learning Management course from Deakin University, Australia, and XII from The Army Public School.
