Gurudeep Singh is a co-founder of edvi, the largest tutoring company, on a mission to revolutionize access to quality online education while keeping the human element at the center. With over 12 years of relevant experience, Gurudeep has worked with a range of technologies, including cloud computing, digital security, advanced cryptography, hardware-based security, and AI. He deeply enjoys working on innovation and is driven by curiosity and a sense of meaning in his work. In his previous role as an Engineering Manager at IDEMIA, Gurudeep defined and delivered technology innovation roadmaps and explored early use cases of emerging technologies such as confidential computing, CBDC, and Metaverse. He maintained a UX-focused approach to ensure complex technologies could be adopted with the least friction and found ways to increase operational efficiency through advancements in software development, such as low-code application development, cloud-native, and confidential computing. Gurudeep has also practiced lean-startup methodologies for a few years and has been involved in all phases of product development, from ideation and prototyping to testing ideas and solution development. He has experienced almost every aspect of the Aadhaar ecosystem, from authentication devices to software and architecture facets. Mentoring, supporting, and demonstrating the meaning and impact of the work being done by team members is also something that Gurudeep is often involved with. Gurudeep holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Tech.) in Computer Science & Engineering from GLA Institute of Engineering & Technology Mathura. His tech stack includes Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, AI, and test. Gurudeep is passionate about leveraging technology to transform education and make it accessible to everyone.
