Halil Samed Çıldır is an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with a background in IoT and medical device industries. He is skilled in C++, C#, Python, and ROS. Halil is a strong engineering professional with a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Boğaziçi University. Currently, Halil works as an Embedded Software Engineer for a leading startup in Turkey where he controls more than 10k units in the field, consisting of 8 different products. He completed the PoC of their IoT system in less than 2 months and has been applying his other skills for completing certain necessary tasks. He used forensics knowledge he gained from competing in the world-famous "Capture the Flag hacking competitions" to find those who attempted to steal company products in the field and made attacks to their backend system such as DDOS attacks, etc. by tracing their logs in the system. Halil wrote PC and mobile apps for debugging and testing the IoT device they are producing. With his team, they made an automated manufacturing test device for the IoT PCB that is produced in 10k+ quantities. He wrote python scripts for easier log checking, automated warning systems by continuously tracking the logs of 10k+ devices, automated testing of the firmware binary, etc. Halil wrote the embedded software using C++14, mainly because of constexpr, static_assert, and template programming. Previously, Halil worked as a Security Engineer for team breakpoint, where they attended as many CTF competitions as possible. He also worked as an Embedded Software Engineer for techneon, where he designed embedded and high-level software for wireless load cell indicators and digital load cells as well as the embedded software design of a medical infusion pump. Halil holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Boğaziçi University. He is proficient in various tech stacks, including Software Engineering, Python, AI, Mobile, Backend, and C++. Halil has 2.95 years of relevant experience in the field.
