Hamzah Khan is an accomplished self-taught engineer and resourceful student of new and interesting things with over six years of relevant experience. He is currently a self-employed Angel Investor, building more than investing with founders, teams, and ideas he is personally bullish on, mostly around DeFi and Web3 Infrastructure. Hamzah's select investments include KoinBasket, Virtuswap, StarGate, and MarketXyz. Hamzah's past experience includes working as a lead instructor teaching web development, early software engineer at TelCom startup, and teaching GRE, GMAT to locals across the Middle East. He also worked as the Head of DeFi and Labs at Polygon Technology, where he worked on providing cutting-edge layer-2 Ethereum technology to the global dev community of gaming, digital art, and decentralized-finance. Hamzah holds a Master of Science degree from New York University and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science from Aligarh Muslim University. He also completed his schooling from Delhi Public School, Agra, with a focus on Science. Hamzah's tech stack includes DeFi, Polygon, Web3, Ethereum, infra, Decentralized, Web, and Software Engineer. He is currently the Head of DeFi at Polygon, where he is responsible for leading the DeFi efforts and driving innovation in the space.
