Hanif Eridaputra is a professional software engineer with over seven years of experience in quality assurance and testing. Currently working as a Software Development Engineer in Test at Pelago, Hanif specializes in creating and building automation tests from scratch for mobile apps (Android and iOS) and web, maintaining them, and integrating them with supporting tools like CI/CD tools and device farms. Hanif has worked with several companies in the past, including halodoc and traveloka, where he was responsible for maintaining Android and iOS automation tests based on BDD and page object models using Appium and Cucumber. He successfully increased and maintained the pass rate of automation at more than 90% each release cycle, ran both manual and automation tests, reported bugs found to developers, and assisted them in resolving them. He also created test cases and implemented automation. At traveloka, Hanif built mobile apps automation from scratch using Appium with Java/Kotlin Language and improved automation tests by adding and sending reports through Slack or email automatically, adding parallel execution features, and revamping them to speed up time execution. He also researched new tools to improve test time execution, quality of the test, possibility for CI/CD tools, and reduce manual tests. Hanif checked all code from other team members before it could merge into the master branch and decided to move from Gherkin Language to Page Object model. Hanif holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Informatics from Institut Teknologi Bandung, where he studied from 2010 to 2014. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in various technologies, including test, SDET, software engineering, Android, CI/CD, mobile, iOS, web, Jenkins, and research science. With 8.70 years of relevant experience, Hanif is a skilled and dedicated software engineer with a proven track record of building and maintaining automation tests for mobile apps and web.
