Hannah Josifek is a recent graduate in Biosystems Engineering from the University of California, Davis, with a keen interest in Lab Work, Renewable Energy Tech, Carbon Capture, and Plant Behavior. She is currently seeking employment and has experience in Design and Operations Management, Data Analysis, Scientific Writing and Digital Media Presentations. Hannah's latest position was as a Lab Manager in Plant Pathology, where she was trained in Differential Diagnostics and Molecular Bioinformatic techniques. As a Diagnostics Lab Manager at Swett Lab, she managed client communication, the sample database, and wrote diagnostic reports. She also trained and supervised five undergraduate research assistants in diagnostic skills and performed differential diagnostics processes such as microbe identification by microscopy and bioinformatics, including DNA extraction, PCR, and gel electrophoresis. Hannah also maintained laboratory supplies, solutions, and an organized working environment and conducted fieldwork, including disease incidence and severity data collection and field maintenance. In her previous role as an Operations Manager/Project Developer at San Francisco Florist, Hannah began as a designer/sales associate and was promoted to manager in 2015. She managed a sales team of four to five people and trained a design team of seven to twelve people. She wrote corporate proposals for luxury floral service and designed weekly custom floral recipes, maintained client and budget records and relations for over 300 corporate accounts, engineered and implemented digital service and inventory systems, and managed scheduling, supply chain, purchasing, and quality control. Hannah's tech stack includes Research Scientist and designer, and she has relevant experience of 0.43 years. She is highly motivated and passionate about contributing to the renewable energy and carbon capture industry.
