Hardik Bhatia is an accomplished entrepreneur and emerging fintech talent based in the MENA region. He recently won the Emerging Fintech Talent in MENA Award and is currently working as a Founder in Residence at Entrepreneur First. With over 2 years of relevant experience, Hardik has co-founded and served as CEO of SustVest (formerly SolarGridX), an exchange platform that enables people to buy and sell digital-ownership of physical solar panels through blockchain-powered tokenization. His vision is to provide a bridge from a centralized past to a distributed energy future, while also addressing market imperfections that are slowing down the adoption of solar energy. Prior to his entrepreneurial journey, Hardik worked as an Engineer Intern at FundsIndia, where he gained extensive knowledge of the mutual funds industry in India. He worked closely with the team to understand the drivers of the industry and the sentiment of retail investors during the COVID-19 crisis. He also developed reporting tools to analyze various mutual fund schemes using Highcharts, Zoho Analytics, and BIRT tool. Hardik holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where he graduated in 2021. He also attended Delhi Public School, Dwarka, where he completed his secondary education in 2014. With his impressive track record, Hardik is poised to make a significant impact in the fintech industry. He is passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems and is constantly seeking new opportunities to innovate and create value.
