Hardik Thakkar is a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer with over 10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Automation in Storage, Data Backup, Virtualization, and Cloud technology. He has a good working knowledge of different Virtualization platforms and hands-on experience on Apache Cloudstack. He has also developed a test suite in Python to test REST APIs and backend infrastructure. Hardik has a strong knowledge of storage systems, including SAN (Storage Area Networking) and NAS (Network Attached Storage), and a good understanding of CIFS and NFS protocols. He has hands-on experience on Backup Products like Symantec Netbackup and Backup Exec and a good understanding of RAID, FCP, and iSCSI protocols. He has experience in developing Functional Test Plans and POCs and knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Hardik has been part of Storage Functional Testing and System testing and has exposure to Smoke test, Regression test, Adhoc test. He has good working experience on Test case creation, Test coverage creation and modification, and Reporting and Verification of defects. Hardik is currently working as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Enea Openwave. Previously, he has worked at Persistent Systems as a Module Lead, where he was part of the core Test Planning team and developed a test automation suite in Python to test REST APIs to test end-to-end Cloud deployment. He has also worked at Calsoft as a Principal Automation Engineer, where he led a team of Python automation engineers and coordinated with clients for new requirements and handled source code management. Hardik has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University. His tech stack includes QA, Test, Python, Infra, Backend, SDET, and Integration.
