Hareesh Gajulapalli is a skilled problem solver and fast learner with a strong engineering background. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad. Currently, he is a Member of Technical Staff-3 at Cohesity, working in two teams parallelly, Platform and Virtualization. In the SDN Project, Hareesh is responsible for bringing up an overlay network on the distributed cluster and providing a list of APIs for multiple networking objects. He has used OVS+OVN as an SDN solution and is responsible for creating a cluster for OVN and taking care of the life cycle for events. In the Kubernetes Project, he is responsible for bringing up components needed for Kubernetes infra and maintaining internal docker repos for storing app container images. He provides volumes to apps when requested by taking advantage of Cohesity's filesystem. In the Internal Bifrost project, he hides Cohesity endpoints behind this bifrost to provide better security and makes it reachable both from customers' network and Cohesity's network. Hareesh has previously worked as Member of Technical Staff-2 at Cohesity, where he was part of the platform team. He maintained a tool responsible for collecting information needed to solve field issues and contributed to packaging of company software. He also contributed to the service responsible for setting up a distributed cluster and bringing up all the services needed for Cohesity software to work. He has experience in bringing up backed-up VMs on an already running cluster through qemu-kvm hypervisors. Hareesh has also worked as a software intern at Samsung and has been a teaching assistant for various subjects from BTech 2nd year to final year. He has a relevant experience of 4.79 years and is skilled in Kubernetes, Docker, Golang, infra, and Mobile.
