Harendra Chhekur is a highly skilled software engineer with a passion for open source contribution and competitive coding. With over 3 years of relevant experience, he has a deep understanding of data structures, advanced algorithms, and software development. Currently working as a mentor at adplist, Harendra has previously worked as a software engineer at Simpl and SDE II at HackerRank. Harendra is a 5-star coder at CodeChef and proficient in MERN stack, Flutter, and other technologies. He has built web, mobile, and desktop applications and open-source frameworks, showcasing his versatility and expertise. At HackerRank, he built a middleware that intercepts every HTTP request and rotates Auth Token, and a microservice based on Adapter Pattern that deals with the 7k+ events coming from various integrations on a daily basis. He also implemented a common event service based on Factory Pattern that is inherited by multiple individual event services. Harendra also built a Github bot to perform actions on Github on behalf of users, and set up websockets to deliver real-time updates on the frontend and Kubernetes crons to sync integrations data on a daily basis. He is currently maintaining an open-source Jira SDK for APIs written in Golang and implemented long-term caching for the frontend app. Harendra completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, Gwalior. He has a diverse tech stack that includes Ruby, PHP, MySQL, MongoDB, Elastic Search, GCP, and more. Harendra is a research scientist with a keen interest in P2P and microservices.
