Hari Om Gaur is a passionate engineer with over 8 years of experience in developing large-scale distributed systems. He is a Computer Science graduate from IIT Jodhpur and has been leading product engineering for 3 years at Gojek. Hari is a full-stack engineer with roots in DevOps and Agile methodologies. He currently leads the events streaming platform at Gojek and has built backend and frontend services for Cloud using Clojure, Golang, Ruby, and ReactJS. Hari's skills and interests lie in solving customer problems and building customer-facing and developer-facing products. He has worked on projects like Gofood (on-demand food delivery service), Gopay (online payment wallet ecosystem), and a deployment platform. Hari is motivated by networking and discussing ideas on/via Twitter and his blog. He enjoys extreme programming practices and has a keen interest in running, reading books, singing songs, and writing poems. Currently, Hari is working as a Technology Lead at Gojek, where he is maintaining the open-source event streaming application development framework, Ziggurat, and the developer platform to manage and deploy applications at Gojek scale. He is also responsible for maintaining the service registry and discovery for more than 250 applications. In the past, Hari has worked as a Product Engineer at Go, where he built the Uptime Tracking system for APIs for the first time in Gojek and worked on enabling large-scale offline payments using third-party integrations with Gopay. He has also worked as a Software Developer at Codeignition, where he created an in-house escalation policy and alert tracking system using Ruby on Rails and Adhearsion for end-to-end call tracking. Hari's educational background includes a B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering from IIT Jodhpur, where he graduated in 2015. He completed his 10+2 from Rashtra Sahayak Vidyalaya (R.S.V.) Bikaner in 2010 and his primary education from H. S. R. Vidyaniketan, Bikaner, in 1999. Hari's tech stack includes software engineering, DevOps, frontend and backend development, Ruby, search, Clojure, ReactJS, and Golang.
