Haricharan B. is a seasoned software engineering professional with over 7 years of experience in the banking, retail, and farming (Ag-Tech) industries. He specializes in front-end technologies based on JavaScript frameworks and libraries and has deep technical expertise in developing mobile apps. Currently, Haricharan is a Senior Software Engineer at Yara International, where he is responsible for the feature delivery of FarmCare mobile app, the flagship digital product of Yara. He manages releases of the app into production, mentors junior developers, and manages a junior developer. He has also helped reduce the app size by more than half. Prior to his current role, Haricharan worked as a Software Engineer at Yara International, where he was responsible for feature delivery of the FarmCare mobile app. He delivered various performance improvements in the app and enhancements for a key data collection mobile app used by Yara researchers to test Field Nitrogen level measurement devices of Yara. Haricharan has also worked as a Full Stack Engineer at TCS Innovation Lab, where he worked on multiple innovation Proof of Concepts in the retail domain using technologies such as React, React Native, ARKit, MLKit, ARCore, etc. He won the TCS Innovista Award in 2019 for his work. Haricharan holds a Dual B.Tech degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, RKValley.
