Harish Vadlamani is a self-directed and motivated individual with an affinity for solving computer perception-related problems. He is currently working as an Associate Data Scientist at Cognizant. Harish has 2.18 years of relevant experience in the field of data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Harish has a Master's in Computational Linguistics from the University of British Columbia, which he is expected to complete by December 2022. He also holds a Deep Learning Certification from the University of San Francisco, a Professional Program in Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies from IIT, and a Nanodegree in Machine Learning Engineer from Udacity. In his previous roles, Harish has worked as a Machine Learning Fellow at Fellowship.ai, where he worked on building an automated pizza maker that detects varying levels of doneness in pizzas with an accuracy of 91% on the client's curated test set. He has also worked on developing an immersive UI experience for the pizza project by building a GAN to display how the pizza gets cooked using unpaired and paired image-to-image translation approaches. At Laalsa, Harish worked as a Data Science Analyst, where he delivered meaningful insights from data on tasks like restaurant onboarding check to customer food suggestions. He is currently working on building a hybrid content/collaborative recommendation system to provide customers suggestions based on their implicit preferences.
