Harpreet Kaur is a highly skilled and experienced backend Software Developer with expertise in NodeJS, Python, MongoDB, AWS Redshift, and Graph Databases. She is currently working as a Software Engineer at Darwinbox, where she is the primary developer for the Reports and Analytics team. In this role, she is responsible for implementing NodeJS-based Reports and Analytics microservices that have been subscribed by over 700 clients. Harpreet has also set up several Microservices from scratch in Python and Nodejs. She has implemented a dedicated reporting database in Redshift using data transformation pipelines for ETL and streaming through RabbitMQ messaging service. She has developed data aggregation logics with linear and graph-based queries for summary reports and real-time analytics dashboards. Harpreet has built Restful APIs for serving data to JavaScript frontend, handling dynamic queries, and over 5 lac concurrent requests. She is also involved in quarterly project planning, estimation, task prioritization, and scrum management of the reports and analytics roadmap. She is a subject-matter expert in MongoDB and Neo4J for internal team members and manager/mentor of a two-member team within the module. Harpreet has previously worked as a Software Engineer at Darwinbox, where she implemented NLP-based sentimental analysis and profanity filter functionality for performance feedbacks and internal communication on Darwinbox HRMS. She also developed a rule-based feature for shortlisting and ranking of candidate applications in the Darwinbox Recruitment Module. Harpreet holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology. She has a relevant experience of 2.78 years in the field of Software Engineering.
