Harsh Boob is a Software Engineer with 1.86 years of relevant experience, currently working as an SDE - 1 at Swiggy. He has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. During his internships at Vogo Automotive Pvt. Ltd. and Surface Design Technologies Pvt. Ltd. - India, Harsh gained hands-on experience in various technologies and tools. At Vogo Automotive, he designed a flexible platform to obtain user information from GitHub and store it using PostgreSQL. He used Django in Python for backend development and created the website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Harsh also worked on a notification system that uses the Election Algorithm to select the best vendor available. He used BLE technology to enable helmets to function as keys to unlock bikes and monitored users' driving styles using the helmet camera. He evaluated Google Map and MapmyIndia to detect latency and accuracy of place search, route, and distance API. Furthermore, he worked on gRPC(Remote Procedure Calls) protocol to reduce the latency of Django servers. At Surface Design Technologies, Harsh completed 3D scanning and inspection of a sedan car and performed tear-down scanning and 3D modeling using Catia and Solidworks. He worked on software like Geomagic Design X and GOM Inspection for 3D-inspection and report creation. He also performed section cutting in different locations for scanning, BOM preparation, and part list. Harsh's technical skills include Django, backend development, Python, JavaScript, and Search.
