Harsh Kadia is a BI Engineer at Rogers Communications with almost 3 years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, and visualization. In his current role as an MDM Developer at Xylem, Harsh is responsible for developing ETL mappings using Informatica Developer tool to bring data from sources to s3 bucket, IDQ, MDM Landing, and MDM Staging. He has developed mappings that perform Extraction, Transformation and Load of source data into Derived Masters schema using various IDQ transformations like Sorter, Union, Filter, Router, lookup, Rank, Joiner, Standardization, Expression, and update strategy to meet business logic in the mappings. He also manages third-party communication, quality, productivity, training, and other miscellaneous tasks. Harsh follows data governance rules for Vendor and customer master data processes. He has created an automated dashboard of reports in Service now which saved manual efforts of around 8 associates per week with high accuracy of reports for senior management. He also maintains naming conventions and warehouse standards for future application development. Previously, Harsh worked as a Data Scientist at Si2 Technologies Pvt Ltd. Here, he created dashboards to analyze sales and inventory data in order to develop forecasts and optimize stock levels. He also created efficient data pipelines and interactive dashboards using Tableau Desktop, publishing them to server and Salesforce Tabs for Business Intelligence (BI) processes. Harsh has experience in pre-processing data and transforming data using Tableau Prep Builder. He also performed administrative functions like reports and dashboards, workflows, manage/update access & permissions, Validation rules, Formula’s. Harsh has designed Custom Objects, Custom Fields, Custom Tabs, Page Layouts, Custom Reports, and Dashboards. He has implemented Security and Sharing rules at object, field, and record level for different users at different levels of the organization. Harsh has also created and optimized Process Builder, Workflows, and Approval Process as per the requirements. He has a basic knowledge of Apex, Salesforce Triggers, and LWC. Harsh holds an MSc in Business Intelligence and Analytics from the University of Westminster and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from G H Patel College of Engineering & Technology.
