Harsh Mehta is an aspiring DevOps Engineer with 2.78 years of relevant experience. Currently, he is working as a DevOps Engineer at Fire Concern Limited, where he is responsible for creating and managing EC2 instances, installing and configuring Git for version control, GitHub as source code repository, and Docker for containerization. He also builds and maintains Docker images, containers, networks, and volumes via the command line and hosts custom-built images on Docker Hub. He manages application dependencies using Docker Compose and orchestrates them using Docker Swarm. He develops and optimizes CI pipelines using Jenkins for better performance and usability. Additionally, he installs and configures Prometheus for generating alerts and reports, and configures Grafana for monitoring cluster/nodes/pods health and performance. Harsh has also collaboratively developed server-side logic for a Java app and performed unit testing using JUnit 5. In the past, Harsh has worked as a Software Developer at Peak Investing, where he developed a back-end API for the mobile application using Express and Firebase and created scalable and reusable components for the front-end application using React Native. He has also worked as a Python Developer at BP Wealth Pvt Ltd, where he implemented algorithmic trading strategies using Python, R, and Apache Spark on notebooks and communicated its results via dashboards on Databricks as well as on the local environment. He developed a web-based platform using Flask, Dash, Celery, MySQL for tracking the performance of various strategies and delivered a GUI application using Python with PyQT and R with Shiny, that executed multiple strategies on a given dataset. Harsh has also actively participated in UAT with business users to ensure adherence to business needs and fixed non-compliant defects identified by the QA team while supporting various releases. Harsh holds an MSc in Software Engineering from the University of West London and a BCA from Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research.
