Harsh Parakh is a highly motivated and curious software engineer with a passion for exploring new ideas. Currently working at Microsoft as a Software Engineer 2, he spends his time traveling the nation attending hackathons and solving problems. With a knack for computer science and programming, Harsh is driven by his desire to learn and try new things. Harsh has a strong background in computer science, having earned a Bachelor's degree in the field from Purdue University in 2019. While at Purdue, he served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for CS 307 Software Engineering I, acting as a Project Coordinator and supervising multiple groups of 6 students each through Agile Framework such as Scrum. He also assisted students with the development of their semester-long project that includes tools of software engineering such as life cycle, specification, design, testing, and cost estimation of software. Prior to his time at Microsoft, Harsh gained valuable experience as a Technology Analyst Intern at JP Morgan. He has also completed high school studies in Mathematics and Computer Science from The Cathedral Vidya School and Science from St. Mary's ICSE School. Harsh's technical expertise lies in software engineering, and he has a strong command of various programming languages and tools. He is an expert in software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall. Harsh is a team player and works collaboratively with his colleagues to deliver high-quality software solutions. With 4.19 years of relevant experience in the industry, Harsh is a valuable asset to any team he is a part of.
