Harsh Shringi is a Lead Software Engineer at Cimpress, where he is responsible for end-to-end ownership of multiple products within Order Fulfillment, the backbone of a $2.5B business. With over 10 years of relevant experience, Harsh is a software engineer, mentor, and leader with hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining distributed cloud-based applications. He is a firm believer in the power of software to positively impact lives, and takes pride in the effectiveness of the software developed by his team and him. Harsh works with global, multi-cultural engineering teams to develop and own decentralized (microservices) API-driven products. His role involves end-to-end ownership of products - from ideation to MVP to sustaining, monitoring, and maintaining them, including DevOps. He engages with stakeholders across the globe to discover problems and opportunities, define roadmaps of applications while analyzing business value, and prioritize between feature requests. As Software engineering lead, he is responsible for engineering excellence, making design choices weighing trade-offs, driving design discussions, code reviews, and instilling development best practices. He's actively involved in hiring, mentoring, and developing Engineers. Harsh is a polyglot developer using a wide range of technologies, including JavaScript, Node Js, TypeScript, Express, NestJs, MongoDB (NoSQL), SQL (MS SQL, PostgreSQL), Microservices, REST API, GraphQL, HTML 5, CSS 3, Java, C#, GoLang, Angular, React, and Cloud/AWS (ECS, EC2, Cloudfront, S3, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, Lambda, CloudFormation, API Gateway, EventBridge). Apart from his work, Harsh has interests in theatre and film-making and has been part of a few experimental plays and short films. He is also an avid swimmer. Harsh holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree from the University of Mumbai and has previously worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Cimpress and a Lead Programmer at Cenveo. At Cenveo, he was a founding member of the Tech team, reporting to the Technology Head, and worked on scaling the team, generating $7 Million+ in revenue from projects for McGraw-Hill, Pearson, serving over 140 Million users in 125+ countries. He designed and built a Template engine supporting features like Speech recognition and audio recording/playback, used to create 500+ web-based game
