Harsha K is a highly experienced Member of Technical Staff at PALC Networks, with over 11 years of relevant experience in the field of software engineering and integration. He is currently working on integrating the opensource TAI library to the dis-aggregated NOS on edge-core CASSINI platform, as well as integrating IPinfusion's platform-independent network-stack OCNOS on to new Merchant silicon chipset [NP8360 family] from Nephos Inc. His work involves board bring-up, interface/SerDes-lane initialization, and design and implementation of platform-dependent HardwareServiceLayer for NP8363. Harsha is also responsible for the architectural design and implementation of various features such as FDB, FIB, Interface-manager, VLAN, xSTP, LAG, MCLAG, IPv4-support, VRRP, ACLs, and Basic QOS. Prior to joining PALC Networks, Harsha worked as a Software Engineer at IP Infusion, where he was responsible for developing commercial-grade, hardware-independent network operating systems for both physical and virtual networks. His work involved developing MVP for Data-Centers, ZebOS GMPLS Support for CIENNA, multicast feature for SOTAS devices, MEF Feature for ZebOS, and SDN OpenFlow protocol. Harsha also worked on L2 protocol enhancements in ZebOS. Harsha holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Engineering, Mysore. He also has a Pre-University degree in Science from BVVSS College of Education, Bagalkot, and completed his High School education from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. Harsha's technical skills include software engineering and integration.
