Harsha Shekar is an accomplished Engineering Manager with over 6 years of experience in Application and Security Framework. With a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Harsha has been involved in the design and development of applications and middleware-based solutions on both Android and Tizen mobile platforms. Currently, Harsha is the Engineering Manager at media iq, where he leads the Jira Scale and Performance team. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring that the Jira platform is scalable and performs optimally. He has extensive experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Mobile, Android, Backend, Web, and Software Engineering. Prior to his current role, Harsha worked as a Technical Lead Developer at Edelweiss and as a Technical Lead at Samsung. At Samsung, he worked on Virtual Reality, Social Robot, Android Application Development, Secure Media Framework, Android Multimedia Framework, Android Platform, Private DRM, TrustZone, Tizen DRM Framework, Tizen Platform, OMA DRM, and PlayReady. Harsha is a research scientist at heart, and his passion for technology has driven him to explore new technologies and develop innovative solutions.
