Harshal Dhake is a Software Engineer at Visa with a passion for computer science. Despite studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering in college, he has always been drawn to the computer stream and has focused on C++ and C languages. He is also proficient in React and Bootstrap frameworks, having used them for SPA development and webpage stylization. Harshal is a team player who values collaboration and meeting deadlines. He has worked with various teams and has contributed to solving problems, researching efficient solutions, and resolving minor production zone errors. At Visa, he optimized the onboarding step in the mobile app build process by creating a Jenkins automation job and integrating Artifactory RESTful APIs with the Java backend system. Prior to joining Visa, Harshal worked as a React Developer at Determinant Studios and Twzzr. At Determinant Studios, he upgraded the entire company website by migrating it from React to Next frameworks and improved the file structure and hierarchy of the code base by using modular components and webpages. At Twzzr, he assisted in migrating the website from React to Next Javascript framework, improved website performance, and developed several webpages using a mobile-first approach to improve user experience. Harshal is a student at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka pursuing a Minors Programme in BTech in Computer Science, which he is expected to complete in 2023. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institution, which he completed in 2023. Harshal's tech stack includes Jenkins, Information Retrieval, CI/CD, Java, Integration, Mobile, and Backend. He is eager to learn new technologies, explore new places, and meet new people.
