Harshal Kataria is a passionate Robotics Engineer with a keen belief that everything in our world can be connected to each other somehow, from Mathematics, Physics to Chemistry and Biology, as nature follows the same laws. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Derq, where he is applying his skills and expertise in Computer Vision and Android to develop autonomous systems. Harshal has been working on autonomous systems for the past 2 years and has a strong background in Mechatronics. Over the years, he has developed an interest in Fluid Dynamics and is currently working on Computational Fluid Dynamics. With a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Harshal has gained a deep understanding of the aerospace industry. In the past, Harshal has worked as a Robotics Engineer at Miko, where he implemented SLAM on an android device. He has also worked at UVRobots, where he gained experience in Robotics Engineering. Harshal has been honored by the post of Deputy Team Lead at Innovation Cell, IIT Bombay, where he learned about all the aspects of the team and had the ability to ensure the team's progress. Harshal is always eager to venture out for new skills and has moved from working on Mechanical to Controls to Perception to CFD(later). He is a skilled Software Engineer with expertise in Computer Vision and Android. Harshal's relevant experience is 1.43 years, and he is always eager to learn and grow in his field.
