Harshav Kumar is an accomplished Machine Learning Engineer with a passion for building and deploying impactful machine learning and computer vision technologies that solve real-world business problems. With a strong academic background in engineering, statistics, and machine learning, Harshav has honed his technical skills and expertise in Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and sequence models. He is also an aspiring deep learning researcher who enjoys connecting ideas from different disciplines, people from different teams, and applications from different industries. Currently, Harshav is working at RMgX Technology LLP as a Machine Learning Engineer, where he is responsible for creating and maintaining models and onboarding new datasets. He has also worked at Quantiphi, where he kick-started the research on Person Re-Identification for smart security surveillance and developed skills and features for the in-house virtual assistant named ‘Maverick’. Harshav has contributed to various projects during his career, including implementing object masking for object removal from images, generating 50k synthetic data points for automatic license plate recognition base model, integrating face recognition and camera tampering detection, and speech detection in an existing platform, and improving upon handwriting recognition model by utilizing Dilated CNN and multi-directional LSTM decoder. Harshav is proficient in Python, C, TensorFlow, Keras, SQL, Flask, and familiar with NLP (Natural Language Processing) and Computer Vision. He is also experienced in AWS, Big Data, OpenCV, Pytorch, GAN, Corpus, Scikit, CI/CD, Pandas, Neural Networks, MySQL, and GCP. Apart from his work, Harshav is an adventurous traveler who loves football and meeting new people over a cup of coffee. He completed his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from B K Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology, Pilani, in 2019, and Science from Halwasiya Vidya Vihar in 2014. With 3.86 years of relevant experience, Harshav is a valuable addition to any team looking to build and deploy machine learning and computer vision technologies that have a real-world impact.
