Harshil Jain is a highly accomplished Masters student in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence at the University of California San Diego (UCSD). He is a former Member of Technical Staff - 2 at Nutanix, Bangalore, India, where he worked on building entity-centric storage policies for managing entities at scale. Harshil graduated with a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) with Honours in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India in 3.5 years in January 2021. Harshil has been awarded several prestigious scholarships and fellowships, including the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) Scholarship by the NCERT Delhi in 2015, the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Fellowship by the Govt. of India in 2015, and the DAAD WISE Scholarship by Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst - DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) in 2020. He has also pursued research internships at IISc Bangalore and NeuralSpace, London, where his research work was accepted at the SustaiNLP 2020 Workshop on Simple and Efficient Natural Language Processing at EMNLP 2020. Harshil is passionate about Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Natural Language Processing. He is a skilled software engineer and research scientist with relevant experience of 2.36 years.
